The collection is “fully optimized” for Xbox’s next-gen consoles. Given what we know about how the new Xbox systems will improve older games, that means players can expect faster loading times, crisper graphics, and generally improved performance.
They can also expect frame rates of 120 FPS in both the campaign mode and multiplayer modes, with splitscreen improvements for the latter. On Xbox Series X, Master Chief Collection will support resolutions up to 4K.
Halo Infinite was planned as an Xbox Series X|S launch title and featured in Microsoft’s next-gen gameplay reveal. However, it suffered a substantial delay earlier in the year and now has an undetermined release date. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more Halo news as it develops.
