Greedfall, Spiders’ follow-up to 2016 sci-fi RPG The Technomancer, looks to be a worthy follow-up. Today, Spiders released a new gameplay trailer that offers glimpses of the game’s classless progression system and a brief look at some of the story elements.
In addition to the overview trailer, the studio has confirmed that the game will feature 4K support and HDR integration for the PS4 Pro version.
Publisher Focus Home Interactive had this to say about what players can expect from the game:
Players decision will have a large impact on the game, and Focus has confirmed that players will be able to use diplomatic measures to influence certain “far-reaching quests.”
The game’s optional tactical pause menu allows you to choose your next moves strategically. Your party members will follow you into battle, but remember they’re people with their own hopes, goals and motives. Say or do the wrong thing and their loyalty to you could waver, or even turn entirely.
Subterfuge will also be a big part of Greedfall, playing into the game’s overall strategic elements. However, details on what systems may take advantage of stealth haven’t been released yet.
Check out the overview trailer below, showcasing the wide range of choices available in how players can tackle challenges, deal with party members, or side with different factions,
Due out September 10, Greedfall pre-orders are now online here for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
